yep, he said he had a call from somebody claiming to represent the airlines, saying that the flights had been cancelled.

Apparently you fooled him for quite a few minutes.

anyway, based on the quantity of lager, curry and sag aloo consumed he could fly there without an aeroplane - if his jacket wasn't quite so heavy !!
