Not at all, I'm all for personal choice, I do agree with personal thing (that's one reason to sail) - and I am set against proscribing 'personal thing' - as long as the personal thing does not impact others.

I just wondered at the motivation and the idea that maybe the money (and pain) could be re-directed. Maybe if I could understand the motivation it would not be 'a strange thing' and I could embrace the concept.

If you like - I am open minded and await elucidation.

I need to be convinced that a tattoo down a young ladies leg, or wherever, is somehow enhancing her 'persona'. Or specifically what does an anchor tattooed on a young, or less than young, gentleman - do for them (that a Rolex watch might achieve with less pain)?
