Now has my nav really gone or does this mean NW corner of Morocco inc. Tanger is off limits? Surely not. Was planning a trip over there but only got a catapault so might be out gunned.

I haven´t checked the lat and long, but can say that we were in Tanger a few weeks ago and it was very much open! Well worth a visit! A quick search shows no mention of such a thing.

Best of luck if you decide to look and do report back!

Thanks roaring girl
Might go straight round to Asilah. Not port of entry but pilot says should be OK. Anyone been there?
Think might be cultural festival on now so should be good.
Have fun wherever you are!

Thanks,
Here now, tied up to some fishing boats. Got woke up early when another boat came back in and got between me and rest of raft, no probs and big plate of fried anchoa handed over. Ocean village this is not!

As you've found out it is open. we have just returned from there, and like previous post we too took the train to Fes for a two day trip, well worth a visit and the guys in tanger looked after the boat for us.

the only problem with asilah is the entrance in a westerly as it is shallow, hit it at high water with no swell and all will be well.
