Anyone any experience of them? Thinking of getting a generator as my berth has no electricity. Prices seem very cheap!

I understand that they are 2 stroke; therefore difficult to start, smelly and noisy. The Amazon site sells them and there are comments from buyers.

I was looking for a petrol pressure washer and noticed noticed a "Swiss Kraft" model with quite a high output at a very cheap price. The word "German" was also prominent on the product.
I decided to pass on the basis that neither Swiss nor German products are that cheap nor do they tend to ram the words down your throat.
I suspect they are of far eastern origin and a brand yet to be proven?

I bought a Swiss Kraft Genny, very cheap 3 phase 8KVA so it claimed on the box.
But when you delved a bit deeper, that was a peak rating, continuous rating was less than 1KVA per phase. and since I had no 3 phase loads that made it a pretty useless machine for me. should have known you would never get 8KVA from a 3HP engine.
So I sold it on ebay for a small profit.
It looked like a copy of a Honda engine. Almost certainly built to a lower spec.
If you do buy one pay careful attention to the quoted output and take it with a large pinch of salt.
