There’s nothing special about the Honda, and it’s slightly louder than the Hyundai (on paper). Both are small engines in plastic cases and spare parts readily available.
We used a Kipor genny out in Greece and it was worked hard, lots of olive picking threshers plus everyday use, party lights etc at night, it never missed a beat, no problems at all.
Agree that the Handas are a bit pricey but they are quiet…… Had à Kipour for over ten years and always started and ran but only 1kw so upgraded to a champion 2kw and very pleased with it. Quieter than the Kipour. Only had it for a year and put ten hours on it but pleased so far. À bit bigger than the Kipour. Hate generators really but not being on a pontoon sometimes I need real power and having a couple of LiPo batteries at least they can be charged quickly.

Think these are American version of the Honda but not quite as good.
