I have been looking at several Swedish built boats in and around the 22ft/6.7m size. Particularly the Maxi 68, Triss Magnum and Fabola Scanper. All quite similar in design.

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of these boats and could tell me how anchoring is carried out as they seem to have no fittings for such. Also, how safe is going forward on the deck when making way?

Many thanks!

Dave

you don't ancjhor them. In that part of the world you only use stern anchors and a kedge of the stern in many areas, for this reason, a lot of the less expensive boats aren't fitted with bow rollers as standard. You'll have to fit your own- however this shouldn't be too hard as most designs will have stiffened areas for attaching fittings moulded in already, as bow rollers were optional extras.
