We are going to sell our boat and wish to remain in Spain. Our application for our NIE numbers is well under way. Does anyone have any advice or information on applying for Spanish residency whilst renting a house. We are both receiving the British state pension.
Thanks in anticipation

Residency is generally a question of fact. More than 183 days in a year in a country, you are resident. You need to inform the tax authorities in the old and new countries.
