Surge protection

Don't know about that one, but it seems cheap for something that is really going to do the biz at a decent wattage.
When we were in the med we used one of these :: http://www.sollatek.com/AVShiamps.htm , and it saved us from some real cr&p ( once we had 415v between N & E!)
We had the 30 amp version - excellent, (and no axe to grind.)
 
They are a bit coy about what it really does - and whether it will repeat the exercise if you get a sequence of surges. Some of these things are "one-use" only.

If you have IT kit that is business critical you might think of an on-line uninterruptible power supply from e.g.


no flash bang wallop !

I have a small version on the boat, as the wheelhouse doubles as an office sometimes.
