.................... My plan was to order a large piece of Dinoc to see what it looks like in real life. Concerned if might feel/look a bit plasticy. The doors and cupboards are all fine. I am guessing the Dinoc glue would damage the woodwork if ever removed.
I have used wood effect Dinoc. Caught in direct light from it's reflection it is obvious. Looked at directly it has a bit of 3D depth. The whole effect gives the look of highly lacquered wood but is by no means perfect or even close to a veneer finish. I put mine against grp board and when readjusting did not find it left any stick residue or glue marks that you'd expect from a decal. It was surprisingly easy to work with as it is quite stiff.
Not the best example but you can get a feel
