Don’t ask….he makes it himselfJizer ??
The engine does not look like it was submerged
Do you know why it sank ?
Bung!
Not sure if i understand you . You mean hull drain ? Sorry , english is nit my mother tongue
It will be a nice boat…especially with two hundred horses on the back
Couple of observations
Looking at the age of that boat ie. pretty newish, highly unlikely to be any deterioration in hull or its fittings ie bilge drain/bung . ???
Either nobody was keeping an eye on boats in that marina ( the staff) and spotted a very gradual alteration in trim or was it sudden catastrophic event and it went down in an hour or two between marina walkrounds.
Call only recall a removable "drain bung" being found in small speedboats and craft likely to be removed from the water, never in something of that size where any bung to work properly would be under water 100% of the time.
I'm at an MDL marina on the Hamble and whilst I see them do regular walkround checks, I'd say it's once or twice a day if that... sudden catastrophic event and it went down in an hour or two between marina walkrounds.
To be honest…I thought that the drain plug was supposed to on trailerable inboards…not outboards.
You are supposed to put the drain plug somewhere visible…because in the stress of launching it can be forgotten…say your boat’s key ring
Next time the boat is out of the water i would permanently fill the drain hole. This one is a retained version so can't be lost. But it has to be tightened!
