Sunbury lock. Moorings in Weir Stream

OK or Not. ?
Next to road apparently.

They're okay, it depends what you're after. The road is up the bank and not too noisy
Walk up to the road, turn right, decent pub(The Pheonix)and a supermarket further up on your left.
Personally, I'd rather continue up the river and moor at Lady Lindsay's Lawn, or if you're heading the other way, the moorings at Hurst Park.

Sunbury moorings are lovely whither a stop for lunch or overnight, a few good pubs nearby with usual pub grub, very nice garden just 50 yards up from the moorings on the right , free entry with a nice tea room.

The Magpie is showing all the games I'm afraid, which is a shame as it's the nicest pub. The Pheonix does English and Thai food, but I can't remember if it has SKY or not. Both pubs wil have their Remoaners. If you hear any whining, just ask for a Full English Brexit:D

Full English Brexit:D
...you mean a large plate of vague greasy promises trumpeted on the menu which turns out to be inedible and will have you on the toilet for some considerable time to come....while the chef legs it out the back door :)
