Asuming the banks get their act together the corsair will go straight in for her re-fit with.....on second thoughts better not say........ next week
For those planning to do a similar daft adventure one day this is what she's having done.
Stern gantry for new solar panels ( or "Sun-suckers" as Nicola has called them, she's convinced thats correct)
New rudder, old one has some lovely blisters
New standing rigging
Some running rigging
heavy duty fridge
Wind generator
extra batteries
holding tanks
minor survey bits (very, she was an exceptionally well cared for boat)
SSb and Iridium installation
Forward looking sonar
anti fouling etc (any tips for best product for carribean?)
Can anyone advise on the best downwind rig for the corsair, she has a cruising shute and inner forstay. We were thinking of recutting the spare genoa and hanking
it on then pole it out. Very green here so advice much appreciated.
