The question not asked, is just what do you want the boat for. Many folk buy small sports boat, take it out. Go round in circles a few times, get bored, then park it up behind the shed.
You cant cruise very far in a small boat, so your options are skiing or other water sports. Maybee day cruising, if you pick the right area.

Well In a 21ft Cuddy I did Hamble-Poole-Alderney-St Peters Port-Cherbourg -East Cowes-Hamble in 8 Days!
The next Year I did St Cypyrien(France)-Rosas (Spain)-Barcelona (Spain) -Cuitadella (menorca) all over 20 days in a 21.5ft cuddy!
So yes then can Cruise a long way...but it is for the more adventurous out there!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Mmmm,
And to think this year I have moved the boat from the Thames to The Hamble....and used a Truck! Where did my adventurous spirit go!
