streamline GPS - help needed

i own a yacht with a streamline gps a st 400 model.
after replacing the memory battery the gps asks for a password but i never put one.i need a contact to a technician that deals with it as the company closed.
any help from a st 400 owner will be most welcomed !!

Hello Eastmed.Do you know which map system is used.Most of these devices are just badge engineered.Someone on here may have same unit with but with different badge on it.

I also have one, and managed to track down the designer. The company is still going, but the GPS is no longer made- too cut throat. It is still supported and can have a full software update for about £50. Luckily I have the tel & address at home.

I also have one, and screwed up my security soon after getting it. There is a "universal" password, which Richard Williams (see Stuart's response) may be persuaded to give you - he may have to kill you after giving it to you though, so you don't pass it on!

I have some other problems, which I will post separately.
