Strange 24/12V system behaviour with dimmable lighting

The problem was found:

The dimmer for the lights was faulty. A new one works fine.

The motor now has a voltage reducing control unit and slows fine. I didn't realise the previous unit was a PWM, so the motor was getting reduced current, not reduced voltage, hence the odd constant full speed.

I though you said that you had swapped the dimmers around and proved that they all worked properly
