Hi All,

I have an old Stowe trailing log but still in very good condition.
It has been "found" after being misplaced for years.

However, its uses a PP7 battery which I understand are no longer easily
available if at all.
Can anyone advise if there is still any source for this size battery?

Thank you,

Duke.

Replacement for PP7...

PP7 batteries are obselete now. You could use a couple of PP3 batteries instead, taped together. Connect them in parallel, so you still get 9v. You need to connect them to PP9 size press-stud clips. Maplin (www.maplin.co.uk) sell both PP3 and PP9 size clips.

Think I might be wrong...

PP7 batteries might not be obselete, although they are certainly very difficult to find. Might be worth doing a search on Google before you get the soldering iron out!

Many thanks for the responses.

I am happy to report that I found that PP7 batteries are still available!
I followed up on Maplin and they have them in stock.

Again, thanks to all who replied,
Duke.
