Yes, I forgot to add the wax in styrene so whilst the gel has gone off , the surface is still tacky. Someone else is bound to have done the same thing and found a cure. What is the cure?

another thin coat with wax in? or a coat of PVA glue to seal from atmosphere?

Cover with cling film, selotape etc
