Standard Horizon is the marine products part of the Japanese telecommunications manufacturer Standard Vertex. They are best known for their handheld and compact mounted VHF radios everywhere else in the world, but probably not in the EU, because like most of the radio manufacturers outside the EU they do not bother manufacturing EU models. Yaesu, the well known amateur radio manufacturer, is part of Standard Vertex as well. Standard Vertex are also a manufacturer of fixed station and land mobile VHF and HF radios including for the military. Standard Horizon also have a range of marine instruments plus the GPS/Plotters.

I have not used their GPS/plotters but their site is here http://www.standardhorizon.com/ and if you go to the GPS/Plotter you are considering you will find the manuals, plus other documentation for it there.
