My local radio is rubbish dept and O my god have just lost the will to live.
Brief precis of what was heard on my car radio during local peak listening period ie.what passes for rush hour locally.

Mrs X has phoned to say thanks to Mrs Y ,who has given her a stair safety gate.
This was desperately need due to the fact that her little doggy had recently had a heart attack at the top of the stairs and had promptly fallen down to the foot of the aforementioned stairs and hurt its nose.........

Quick show me to the nearest tall building.

a very good summation of why I won't listen to local radio. Unless there is a local huge problem - like petrol situation a few years ago, whole area under feet of snow, or roads flooded for weeks, in which case they go into overdrive and produce a really wonderful local service - but that only happens every 5 years or so.

Here in Thames Valley, didn't get hooley winds, but did get worst rain I've seen in since the beginning of the year - stair rods - and after last weekends torrential rain, whole area is going into flood mode. 4 foot deep roadside drainage ditches full to overflowing, roads closed due to flooding.

Aha, this is a good sign.If you are on here posting it means something else on your boat is not being spread out on your kitchen table./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Cheek! Actually the instrument panel is on the DINING table partially disembled!
The reason for being on the PC is that I am designing its replacement in Excel /forums/images/icons/smile.gif.
On another note is MDF waterproof enough for an instrument panel?

Re:Bad move ?.

Blimming hell you trying to get a job with Bayliner or Sealine(Hi Clive). The slightest whiff of a molecule or two of H2O will have that MDF into bits.Whats wrong with a nice bit of marine grade ply.
