Anyone planning to visit St Kats in August?

To be honest the price is now a factor, given the faff of timing when coming downstream and the issues with Teddington lock I would for now just go straight past and on to Ramsgate, much as we love St Kats.

We looked into visiting St Kats earlier this year, the cost for a 45ft boat was almost as much as staying in the Tower Hotel.

I am staying the whole August 11 m boat will cost 2K

That’s 500 a week yes expansive and the place is run down but top location?

Three nights booked mid August. £296 for five people so £20 pp/pn. Don’t know what people expect to pay in London. Cheaper in Queenborough if all you want is cheap.

Single night price is not a bargain.
In there a few months ago.
The 3 night deal for a 12 m boat was £375.00..
Not that much more per night than paid last year..

Have just been relieved of £8.00 quid to park on the field at Eaton.
No power and no water.

But that wasn't the normal price, it was a special offer ?

The offer is basically stay for two nights and get a third night free.
For us that worked out at £ 125 per night.
Cannot recall if that included power or not.

That's £65 quid a night.
A Air BnB tent under a bridge would cost more.

Me but not by boat , we often go there as my step son lives in South London so we visit every 8 weeks, we always go to the marina for our boat fix, a very nice place with plenty to do , drink and eat .
