SSR

When I bought our boat it had a ssr number but i did not get any paperwork in relation to this, indeed, the number is still on the transom, what do i have to do to either register or re-register?

I believe, but wouldn't swear to it, that an SSR lasts for 5 years and has to be renewed. Why not go the the RYA website and see if there is a FAQ there. If not drop them an email.

If you write to SSR they will send you a certificate for the number you have on the boat. Best to ring them first and get a form. Just tell them what you want to do and they will do it. Costs a tenner.
