Cut bits of 1 inch PVC tubing to the length you want (I use two inches) and file hollows at both ends, one to accept the feed conductor and the other to accept the backstay wire. Take a plastic cable tie and pass it into the tube, around the feed conducor, back into the tube and around the backstay and then through the other end of the cable tie- Tighten and you´re done (well, not quite, you mighjt want to cut off the excess cable tie for looks...)

Or maybe easier - take the PVC tube and drill holes along it with spacing the same as the desired finished length of each standoff and of diameter to fit the backstay. Then saw through the tube at each hole so that you get a half round in the end of each standoff.
