Spotless Stainless and its other uses

View attachment 70525I bought this years ago but hadn’t used it. I painted it on the life raft cradle and pushpit the other day. Leave for a while and sponge off. Works a treat. The next day I noticed that I had splashed some on the moulded non-slip and it had made much lighter grey spots. So I painted the rest of the gas locker lid and sponged it off after an hour. Wow look at the diffference to the next area that had been scrubbed with Cif. Now to do it all.
The instructions say it is good for getting rust marks off fibreglass. Doesn’t say what is in it except “non caustic”. Website says nothing either.

That what I was thinking but Oxalic acid will over time will take the shine off polished stainless steel.

I use a very fine car cutting paste to polish my stainless steel

No. Must be magic then.

I searched out a safety data sheet but couldn't find one. Similar products seem to have a low Ph but also don't give details.
