Speedseal O rings

I think that I read here that Speedseal had stopped trading. I want some spare O rings, anyone got any ideas where I can get some?

Perkins 4108 Jabsco pump.

Measure the groove dimensions. O-rings of all sizes are on ebay. It's also easy to make a bespoke o-ring for a speed-seal from o-ring cord, again from ebay, and super glue.

I have the same, and measured the speedseal oring dimensions; if no one posts it earlier, in a week I am back home where I have the dimensions written

The O rings for my Johnson pump (VP2003B) are 40mm (o.diam) x 1mm
I bought these from E bay:

and they fit OK with some petroleum jelly after a little gentle stretching.
Perhaps 40mm inside diam would fit even better.

And hopefully others will appreciate too. I have a list of pump coverplate o-ring dimensions that I have gathered, not all Speedseal, many Johnson pumps had o-rings sealing the coverplate as standard. Any more, anyone?

Volvo Penta MD1 Speedseal Cover Plate = 1.5mm x 42mm ID nitrile

Vetus M3.10 Speedseal Cover Plate = 1.5mm X 51mm ID

Johnson pump F4B = 2.4mm X 49.6mm or 2.4mm X 54.6mm ID or 2.4mm X 59.6mm

Johnson pump F5B = 2.4mm X 57.6mm ID and 2.4mm X 59.6mm

Johnson pump F6B = 2.4mm X 57.6mm ID

Volvo Penta TAMD41P-a which is a Johnson pump F7B = 1.78mm X 63.22mm ID

Johnson pump F75B = 2.4mm X 64.6mm ID

Volvo Penta 2003B cover plate = 1mm x 40mm ID

I just bought a second speedseal for the 4108 (see recent thread, most of the models are still available from the French distributor ATMB Marine, rather more expensive than formerly in the UK though), now it s school holidays in France I am stuck in the middle of the Alps, will be back home at the end of the week.

The OD diameter of the groove is 60mm, the internal one 57.5mm, oring rope dia 1mm


I add a cross reference with engine type, pump type, johnson impeller number, jabsco impeller, speedseal reference, source ATMB catalogue

Just took a night picture, if it is not visible and if any interest I can scan the page


The Perkins 4108 speedseal reference is DUNC
