I spotted the Galleon Andalucia arriving for its stay at Caernarfon for a week looked as nice ship .
Came in using the engine not sails as I expected.
Just of to have a little look.

A " pie rate" ship. Brings in the visitors.IMG-20250531-WA0001.jpgIMG-20250531-WA0000.jpg
I assume it came in over the bar.
CHT have recently added a Perch to the wreck of the Grampian Castle which makes it much easier and safer to use a direct route from Llanddwyn and Pilots Cove to Belan Narrows possibly avoiding any breaking swell if following the buoyed route.

Yes it came in over Caernarfon Bar, unfortunately I was to late to watch it going past Fort Belan.
We called in to have a quick look but can't decide if to pay and go on the tour.

Took the granddaughters this afternoon they seemed to enjoy the visit.
I was surprised by the number of cannons on the gun deck and the headroom in there.
The admirals cabin is really impressive but the girls both said it wasn't fare that the rest of the crew had such poor living conditions compared to the impressive accommodation for the captain.
