Weel I wondered that as weel .... but more to the point .. as a rabid republican I would'nt swear allegiance to a German queen so I would'nt be allowed to become a British citizen ... would you?

You do not need to have a Scottish accent to be Scottish.Many of us were taken away from Scotland as small children but that doesn't stop us being any less Scottish than you. What puts me off moving back is the weary wullie parochial attitudes of people like you to newcomers.And TCM is right, the Scottish Parliment do not represent the views of the people of Scotland.
