something wanted in April

I'm in the UK for April, and wouldn't mind something boat-like to do for a week or so around the middle of the month.
Maybe a spot of sailing, but as I'm a practical sort I don't mind simply helping someone work on their boat. I'm (just) over 60 but my lifestyle keeps me fit, and I've got a DS practical, but rather lack experience.
As I'm in the middle of Somerset and don't expect to find a boat in the fields here, something with some accommodation would be preferred.
