Interesting, now to wait for Depsols comments...

I also used Soltron this season but have noticed no difference in operation of the engine; I put it in to discourage bugs etc. which I believe I had earlier. To be fair I have barely used the boat this year and I only have a small 17HP engine.

Reading twixt the lines it seems to me what the article sez is that the more you use the engine(s) the more noticeable the effects are. This when you think about it is logical.

I have used Soltron for years in Play d'eau, and have no problem at all. Had the tanks inspected a few years ago - no deposits.

So, as they say, it's good for me.

Yup, the Fleming 55 - March 2003. Fully loaded...can't wait.

And yes, she will be kept fully Soltonned-up at all times. Seeing she takes 1000 gallons, can I get a bulk purchase discount?

By the way, she uses twin Cummins 450C.
