Solent scrubbing grids / slips

Any suggestions for scrubbing grids / slips in the Solent that have power and water available for a power washer?
Hardway Marine Chandlery at Gosport will rent you a petrol engined power washer for approx £35 at their piles. It's OK. Need to book so ring the shop ...

Hardway Sailing Club ( next door to HMC above). Its a better facility as you are lying to wooden piles on a concrete base, with plumbed in hp washer on the adjacent pontoon. For non-members its £3 a token (lasts 30 mins- ish) and about £10 for the grid itself.

Just pop in to the club bar and someone will help.

zero tollerance for biocide from scrubbing here....

Where I am located there is little tollerance for biocide from antifouling that leaks into the water... no power washing, all waste collected....

That aerial view doesn't show the hammerhead at the seaward end of the pontoon which permits short stay to walk along and inspect IF you can get round/through the security gate.. And there are scrubbing berths on both sides at the clubhouse end; which do you recommend?

I am going to phone the club this w/e.

Both sides of the pontoon have concrete standings (on the south side these were renovated about 2 months ago by club members)

As for depth, well, I have seen deep fins (6' draft) on the piles and up around the 40' long mark. You'll obviously need a decent spring (on the 'rise' is best to avoid any risk of being neaped).

By the way, there are newly installed depth boards fitted on the outer piles (seaward side) so a trip beforehand for a look see and a bit of tidal 'rithmetic should give you a definitive.

FYI The Hardway marine (shop) piles dry 2.0m so on a 4m tide a 1.5 m draught has no problem. I draw 1.7m and can get on on a 4m with no problem as long as there is no high pressure keeping the tides back! Call Steve at the shop to book.

The south side club grids have 0.2 more depth than the north side. There are depth gauges on both grids (marked in feet!) For the Hardway club grids I need a 4.4 tide to be safe. You cannot book the club by phone you have to call in.

Good luck
