Re: So you think you\'ve ridden big bikes

Just doing a Pauline as a rest from wooden boat refit (peeking at other forums not shedding my kit) when the first thing I see is this. Are you motorists only interested in big engines or is this ironic?

The rider obviously has FULL control over the monstrosity. Sorry, motorbikes not my favourite topic this morning after having a nice stroll last evening spoilt by ugly people on ugly Hardlys making ugly noises.

See its a man thing. Its not what it looks like its what went into it and what it does. You know men like to fiddle with things!

I thought men wanted the exact opposite - it has too look like Kylie even though the workings are thick as sh1t

Never mind colin, I haven't got to that stage yet, but its not far round the corner!

Pauline, beauties in the eye of the beholder so they say. I quite like the workings to be well oiled and with a bit of savie

Re: So you think you\'ve ridden big bikes

Bazza I agree with Pauline its crap wont handle prob got really bad power/weight ratio and looks like a plane engine with a couple of bike wheels stuck to it.

No real Science in fitting it together best thing it is good for is prob a leg warmer on these cold days.

Re: So you think you\'ve ridden big bikes

Ahhh bikes, so on a serious note, how many of you out there are bikers?

I loooove bikes. Had several different mental machines, however my licence was too important to me so I stopped riding them. May get a GSXR 1000 one day...

Brendan, that Viper is wimp compared to <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.timskelton.com/valkyrie/photos/psycho_bike.htm>this one</A>.
Note the 2 blowers with the nitros strapped on the back end.

Re: So you think you\'ve ridden big bikes

Nah.... I'll stick to my C90 thanks - probably not a lot slower, and goes a bit further on a gallon of go juice..... and looks martginally better.

Anyway I bet those rear cylinders overheat on a run! Anyone remember the old Aerial Square 4, with its overheating rear pots? Used to seize mine regularly.

Went on to a P&M Panther 650 - lethal! Get the kickstart timing wrong it would throw you over the saddle - probably with a broken ankle too...! Modern bikers have it too easy....
