Winter Jobs

Usually I just change the year date on my list.
Boat out
Hull is completely clean - coppercoat working well
Attempts to remove propeller failed - too many limpets
All cushions, fenders, sails, bimini, spray hood, lazy bag - at home
Main halyard out (it's dyneema), and put in washing machine in a laundry bag on it's own.
2 hours later washing machine destroyed after it bounced across the washroom floor on fast spin and smashed all the controls against the wall.
New machine much better, but I am relegated to hand washing all the other ropes.
Ensign staff rubbed down in kitchen (she was out) and ready for a fresh coat of varnish.
Oiled outboard bracket (also in the kitchen - she was out again)
Made a burgee pole.
Oiled the chronometer box
Varnished the Walker log box
Rubbed down the sextant box.

That's about it to date. When I go to the boat to do any real work I usually meet up with someone and we go to the pub (there are too many close by), so the rest of the day gets cancelled due to lack of interest.

Good luck,

Michael.

cleaned and winterised the boat only haven't even written the list yet.

I have built a new shed though and cleared the garage. Sometimes other things have to be done first.

Oh and I've done my xmas list.
