Hi Forum Members,
I need to tap into the wealth of knowledge held on this site by its members Again
Having inherited this cooker when I purchased my new boat a Hurley 30/90 in December 09, the only infomation I have is limited to a small instalation manual which covers about six or severn different cookers all under the same instructions.
My question is, according to the instructions this cooker has the fascility to have a 12v electical ignition for automatic gas ignition. the only thing is, I can't find out where the conection block is, they say its on the back of the cooker but I can't find any removeable panel which is what one would expect to find.
Does anybody have one of these cookers? and if they have, have they got it wired for automatic ignition, if so where is the connection situated? as its location is beyond me.
Problem is the cooker has been fitted prior to a protruding cupbrd front being fixed, so to remove it would mean destroying the cupbrd front adjacent to it, as it is in an " L " shape orientation, and the back of the cooker has limited access.
At present I am using it with manual lighting which isnt a problem, but as the cooker has the oportunity to use auto ignition, it seems a shame not to be able to use it .
The instructions also state you should use a regulator of 28mb with a flow rate of 1.5kg/h but the only regulator I can find is 28mb but with a 1.0kg/h which is a standard low pressure one . Will this make any difference to the working of the cooker?
Any help would be gratefully received as usual, and I am sure there will be other questions as time goes by on other issues.
The joys of changing boats ? it is like opening a can of worms, so many unknowns.
