I took the plunge ang ordered one. It arrived just after 5 days and i tested it this evening. It cooled down to 10 degrees centigrade with an ambient temp of 21 degrees. I will assume that it is bound to make a difference in my little closed V berth but i will have to wait till summer for the real field test.

Yes, yet another reason to be impatient for next summer season to start. I plan to use it to reduce the summer temp in my ‘captains suite’ that is roughly about 4 - 5 m3 . All walls are isolated and I will channel the exhaust through an existing latch into the engine room
And condensate to the shower box drain under the floor .

Thanks for posting. I must admit you piqued my interest as something that could lower my summer cabin temperatures in Italy nudging 40°C - until I saw the price (discounted) of $900. :disgust:

Yes , it not cheap. i paid 710 USD with postage. I did not buy the battery which costs 200usd extra.

Those figures are impressive. What volume did that cool and was the test space well insulated ?

tested on my floor, the 10 degrees difference was that of the air output and the ambient room temp (illistrated in video ink posted). I am waiting for next summer to test it properly in the boat . But I reckon that if the unit can keep up pumping air 10 degrees centigrade lower , it should be able to lower the whole room temp by a few digits to make it a bit more bearable.
