I was thinking how slow things are today, when I realised it's only 8:15 in blighty, stupid bugger that I am, just because I'm up since 5:30, I think its midday already and it's sunday, sometimes I even amaze myself with my own stupidity. Mind you it was pretty slow yesterday aswell, is the weather good over there and everybody out boatin' or antifoulin' Apart from Haydn that is!

That makes things even easier, you can get going before SHMBO wakes up, no wife no kids no hassel, and no one in the backseat telling you your driving too fast all the time. Now, the boat to my self, theres a thought, where did i put the sleeping pills she wont notice one in her coffee

Soon as water gets to boat will spend afternoon waving varnish brush about and giving hull bit of a polish. Will prob spend rest of day wondering who put all those gouges in gelcoat.Temperature supposed to be up to 21C on Wednesday(in civilized southern part of UK only), will fill in work diary on Monday as being unavailable for work.If raining/snow/windy will unexpectedly become free.

Gedda petrol.cheaper, quieter, less vibration n simpler to maintain...

Thanks lads, you've renewed my faith in the human (almost) race! Haydn, it's raining up your way, for a change it's bonnie out here, can't beleive it!! Oldgit, I've packed my varnish brushes away for this year, finished varnishing in February! Maybe I'll antifoul in the summer, two day jobbie, splish splosh job done! Maybe three days if a beer or two attacks me! Do it in Mallorca!

Re: Now Heres A Chalenge!!

Well I took the cordless drill down last time, with full intentions of polishing the hull. But then the back went. Anyway it's the thought that counts!

Why doesn't some one ask, a really sensible question. But one we know the answer to.

Re: Now Heres A Chalenge!!

There's only one question that I can think of that's sensible (and you stand a chance of knowing the answer :))).

"Wheres my Burgee ??"

ToMo got his hand delivered and to do that you must have driven down the M5 and driven within 1/2 a mile of my house.
All reports are that you have done an excellent job on the Flag front. So whats the lastest on the licking envelope front
p.s. - "patience" was never my strongest point. ....

Ah. You must be one of the slow coach lot. You must be in the third edition. My bloke says there coming on Tuesday so expect them a couple of days after that.

Whilst on the subject. Can I shut the flag shop now!

Re: Sky show

With all that lovely weather over there you should be able to see the Planet Show. We saw it a couple of evenings ago. Very pretty. Might limp (after 128 mile bike ride) down to the beach, to have another look this evening.
(Actually I feel fine after the ride)
