Site recommendations

My 'puter crashed last week and I've now got new HD. Fortunately all my data was backed-up safe except my "favourites".

So thought it a good idea to ask forum to recommend favourite "boaty" sites with reasons for the recommendation.

Might not be of too much use cause it is in french but www.goldschmidt.org is a good cruising guide, it gives plans (which you'll not need french to decipher)
to harbours of north france. Someone on here recommended it to me, as it has the channel islands on it
