It seems that I am unable to get mine to work as it should -
adjusting gain and sea-state results in either correcting all the time or too much drift to either side.
It is mounted on the pedestal, below the main compass (which seems to be unaffected).

Any comments - will investing in an external compass be worth giving a try - or is there other places to look for a solution?
