Right, well we have finally decided on a name. I have sent of the registry papers e.t.c So I now need to get the old name "rubbed off" and the new one "written".
Where is the best place to get this done, I know that Peters do it but I presume they will be incredibly expensive.
Thanks

When I did mine, I just looked up a signwriter in the yellow pages and went to the closest. Choose the font, size and colour you want, and they do it there and then on the spot.

No body uses sign writters anymore. Not with a paint brush at any rate. Just look up your local sign man, he will write out what you want on his confuser and then a wizzy thing cuts out sticky paper for you. Wot you stick on.

Moose,
I had K Signs do mine (opposite Sealine at Swanwick). They were very efficient, helpful and yes cheaper than Peters. They also did new stripes and special graphics at the same time. Give'm a go.

Try Martin Hickson - he does most of the new Bavarias on arrival at Opal Marine (Hayling Island). I'm sure he will be happy to do the job; he did a good job with ours. (That was of course making/applying decals, don't know if he can do signwriting). Phone him on:

Agree with Kevin. K Signs did mine last week. 3 sets of "Lazy Dreamer" (2 bows + one transom) in a two layer job , dark blue with gold outline cost £95. That included them removing the old stuff and sticking on the new. Excellent result and I thought very reasonably priced.
