In the event, we didn't go far as we had youngster onboard and squally conditions so i chickened out and drank some wine onboard instead whilst poking my smelly heads with a stick.
Heard 2 pan pans and a mayday with solent cg giving hms illustrious a mayday seelonce which was ignored. Not very professional the RN, eh?
