Interesting that the Spanish skipper is being held totally to blame even though his side of the story has not yet been heard.

Yes ,that's possible. The local authorities are trying to get in touch with him. Anyway the boat sank in 3 minutes.Hard to miss that.But perhaps he didn't see the boat hit the buoy so he's not aware that he's fled anything other than a near miss?

She wasn't moved on Saturday - she was still there yesterday pm when we passed.
Just where is she? I'm a bit puzzled by the reports as, if entering the Ria, she should have been on shore side, not against the buoys.
I've seen two boats that have hit buoys. In each case the buoy came off best.
