She's a looker!

Re: She\'s a looker!

They dont build 'em like that any more, must be a one off classic.
I wonder if the bag of compost is included, that must be worth something.

Re: She\'s a looker!

It seems that it was designed. According to the text. I wonder what process the people who do things like this go through. Are there many "stand back and admire" moments?

I wonder what the legs of the helsman looked like?

Re: She\'s a looker!

I think you have it,the clues are all there in the photo.
A recently retired double amputee ex bus driver, averse to fresh air but desirous of new travel along well established navigation routes and whose only known vices were those left on the port(sorry, nearside) couch and a penchant for the 'form must follow function' school of design.Did he die of boredom at the wheel, one wonders

Re: Fornicatorium 23.

I must stand in defence here folks; take that hideous top off, and the hull looks like it might be a reasonable form. Bit of a Dreadnought perhaps with that plumb stem and reinforcements (Grecian battering ram bolt-on included?), but interesting I think.
Jem. (Happy to stand alone).

Re: Fornicatorium 23.

It does have a look of a steam launch hull. A bit short and lacking in sheer.
But I'm pleased you are happy to stand alone. You would if you bought it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Fornicatorium 23.

Yes I can see the similarity.
It's only the size, shape, machinery and condition that's different.

Re: She\'s a looker!

I particularly enjoyed reading about the use of advanced materials in the lay-up.

Just imagine tieing her up after a long sunny weekend and catching that last glance over your shoulder as you reach the car.

Re: She\'s a looker!

Good grief.

I think if I was trying to sell a boat with one side white and the other brown, I would only show pictures of one side.

Also, I would probably remove the foot pump from the trailer tyre, at least while I took the photograph.
