An hour with a psychiatrist or engineer would have been cheaper and possibly more beneficial.
Not sure how it could have been cheaper, the fitting was beyond repair. An professional engineer had looked at it and it was he that concluded that something had been picked up in the threads causing the it to seize, it had started to unscrew then failed, so written off at that point.

Quite happy to end the the thread....

I have a seized deck fitting for fresh water filling. It is made by Amiot and consists an alloy threaded cap into an alloy base. It is off the boat now, it did rotate with great difficulty about 180m degrees then stopped solid, so we suspect something was picked up in the threads. The other 2 on the boat are fine, but do get more use). I suspect that the best course of action is to fine a suitable replacement. But happy to receive and suggestions as to how to remove the cap, but only worthwhile if a replacement alloy threaded cap is available. The fitting has been in the vice at home and a lot of heat applied by heat gun and attempts with punch and hammer made to rotate both clockwise and anticlockwise to no avail.
Quick question.... I just purchased my first Beneteau, and both a Water Fill cap and Waste Pump-out cap are seized and it looks like previous owner has ruined the female star indent. My Question is: "Can I just remove the 3 cap screws and pull out the whole unit, and be able to remove the hose from above deck & then re-assemble w/ new units"

Often careful use of a Dremel or similar tool with grinding bit can fashion the 'slot' to work again. Or just grind a straight slot across to take a flat bar tool.
Another way is to use a standard grinder key ... the one that has two pins to lock into the holding threaded washer ... you drill two holes in the cap to match ... careful not to drill right through ..

You might get away with this on the water fill, may need to remove cable ties securing the water hose to give some slack.
On mine, with the waste pump out, there was no slack in the hose.
Acess to the hose clips was OK, so not really an issue.
