SeaScrew

I suspect shut down which is a shame as they normally had the unusual size fittings, etc
Looking at companies house details the only listed person was born in 1956 so I suppose retired.
Seeing that I'm registered with them I'm surprised that they didn't email about closing down so maybe something else has happened quickly.

Does anyone know what has happened to SeaScrew? Their web site has been unavailable for a few weeks and Google says that they are permanently closed.
That's a shame I have an outstanding order for £350 which I paid for in August and have written 3 times about.. Hmmm

I too had wondered what has happened and I am thinking of now buying a selection of Stainless steel fittings for a Bimini from Baseline Marine in Lee on Solent instead.

I bought most of my stern arch fittings from Baseline. I found them excellent and helpful to deal with. It was a long time ago: hope this has not changed.

Baseline - thread drift.
They briefly (very briefly!) acted as an agent for MastaClimba.
On one visit to their premises, they related an incident where a client was in the market for a new boat (an expensive one).
They found something that satisfied the client's requirements but, when agreeing the contract and signing the documents, they asked what he was going to do with the existing one.
He had forgotten he had bought it.
