Considering purchase of a Sealine 260 senator,
1991,twin AQ250sp petrols
Not worried about engines as will replace with diesels but would like comments good or bad from current or past owners.

We've had several Sealines a 255, 290, 310, F33 and an S37, all great boats IMHO. However, whilst the 260 is a good boat, I would question the cost effectiveness of re-engining with diesels. A pair of new 170 hp diesels, fitted would surely add some £20+K to the bill. This, coupled with the fact that in a couple of years time, the red diesel concession could go, thus making diesel as expensive as petrol, would suggest you might be better off staying with the petrol engines, or spend the extra on a bigger boat already diesel powered (S28?).
