Sealant for hole in deck

I'm fitting centre cleats and would welcome recommendations for a sealant to put around the bolts through the deck.

Sikaflex, or if wood, linseed oil putty.

I fitted new bow cleats to my Centaur a couple of years ago and used a general purpose sealant made bt Dow Corning (much cheaper than Skalflex). So far , so good - have had no leaks (which the Irish sea would certainly have discovered)

Selastic, made by Simonize and normally found at the motor factors. Cheap, very effective and lasts for lots of years.

Have a look at

And don't forget to seal the raw edge with epoxy resin...
