Anyone know a good way to free off a seized seacock.I've left it in the closed position for about a month while doing some engine work, did'nt notice the bonding strip had come off!The problem I've got is that where I am the boat is too big to be lifted,so I've got to be careful.
Thanks, Al.

Suggest some very careful application of heat. It's most unusual that it has siezed after a month, it's the sort of thing that you might find after a couple of years.
Could try taking the pipe off and squirting pentrating oil down and leave for a few days, but don't forget to rejoin the pipe or it might just seize open.
best of luck anyway

David, thanks for the advice.I think the reason its seized is because the earth strap had come adrift.
