This is Live-aboard forum. Not sailing forum ?God all this stuff you guys know ,
must take up heck amount of time Google in , taking to custom officers, asking people in airport lounges there view.
Do anyone actually go sailing ?

For any 3rd country, visa exempt citizens on non-EU boats... There are 3 agents that will arrange for you to sail in-transit in EU waters under IMO rules. This is without stamping your passport into Schengen. After entry they will front any challenges you may get from the authorities and brief you on the processes and conditions you need to observe. You do not need a Seamans ID.
