As a matter of pure curiosity, if your boat name has a "two" at the end, how do you say this on vhf? Do you spell it out in letters, tango, whisky, oscar or so you use the number 2?
Thanks

If it is a numeral then just say "too" .... as you would for a numeral in the callsignAs a matter of pure curiosity, if your boat name has a "two" at the end, how do you say this on vhf? Do you spell it out in letters, tango, whisky, oscar or so you use the number 2?

Not unusual in countries with Latin- based languages. There is also the very unusual "BISSOTWO", which might probably be attached letter-by-letter after the name
Unaone, bissotwo, terrathree, cartefour, etc etc
1-8 are no problem for people with Irish accents, but the 9, which is spelt in a way that is intended for British people to pronounce "ni-nah" comes out as " noi- nur" over here. You use two, except there are prescribed pronunciations for numerals -
