I went out to Slippy with a potential buyer (www.lakesailor.co.uk) and noticed another boat on our moorings was listing and heavily down at the bow. It something like a 28 foot Sadler or similar, a very smart boat belonging to a guy in Ambleside.
I knew he'd only put it back on the lake 3 days ago because I saw him arrive when I was leaving the moorings on Tuesday.
I rang the warden who came out but it was locked so they couldn't get into the cabin. However a couple of hours later it's gone so I assume a boatyard must have come and taken it away to sort out.
(It's not sunk as there's only about 15ft of water there, and you'd see the mast!)
Just shows though. Best to check for leaks after re-launching.
