Mike, we were in Santa Ponsa today. Had v long lunch in Italian restaurant in the port (v good by the way). Passed by your boat to say hello about 7 pm but no-one around, and now on our way to Andraitx. Have a good trip back.
I should add that a couple of hours later and just a few miles from where these glorious pics were taken, we were having dinner on our flybridge and we were all huddled up in fleeces and long trousers. Its been pretty chilly at night here these last few days thanks to a mistral wind which has been blowing here for the best part of a weekSo, since today I enjoyed a lovely sunset from a house on the NE tip of the island, which being surrounded by the sea is as close to a boat as a house can get, I thought that the following couple of pics would fit well with the rest of this thread...

Instead of being on the boat as planned for Dartmouth regatta week, we've been forced back home by the constant wind and rain
We are holed up in Santa Ponsa.
Not too bad inside the anchorage - sunny and hot.
But outside, there is supposed to be a 1m swell.
Wind is forecast to move westerly tomorrow and we think that it will be uncomfortable here in Santa Ponsa so we will probably move round to Palm Nova - again!
But not Magaluf!!
We are hoping that the weather may be good enough to have our last night in the Trenc.
Looks like our passage home will be next weekend.
Guessing you didnt get to es trenc, because were moored about 150m off your bows in palma nova.
Were in a windy 25.
Do you expect us to feel sorry for you?!Instead of being on the boat as planned for Dartmouth regatta week, we've been forced back home by the constant wind and rain, haven't seen the sun in over 3 days. Bloody weather!!:nonchalance::nonchalance:
Ok, I guess Hurricane is still out and about with no access to a decent connection, and he can't post his Baldricks pics yet.

...hoping also to bring back nice memories to Hurric (who knows the place), and help him forget the nightmare of a fast approaching RIB! :ambivalence:
