They'd obviously read my trip report and decided it was the place to be.
As they say, it doesn't matter how big your boat is, there's always some bastard with a bigger one!
Haha... But they all have the ketchup and HP bottle on the table...
Hi Hurricane

Hurricane, how deep was it where MYAG anchored?
I did guess(#376?).
May be you missed it.
It was a silly guess so I won't repeat it.![]()
Based on the fact that the water in that part of Sardinia is so clear and the seabed always looks closer than it is, I reckon MYAG is in at least 5m of water. Having said that he plonked his anchor in about 2-3m of water in Spaggia Grande in an area that I had shied away from earlier because it looked so shallow. He's got bigger anchoring balls than meYou were supposed to have a guess.

Sorry M, 'fraid those pics you took of myself standing vertically holding the lower prop blades with raised arms turned out really poor.Lets see if MapisM can get his underwater pics to work.
So you were playing safe that day, Mikeiirc the instruments said 2.6m depth so plenty of room,
Already looking forward to getting back out next week for a few days more boating in Sardinia and then pushing on to the Baldricks.![]()
In case anyone missed the point.
The new forum name for the Balearic Islands is the BALDRICKS.
IMO it is much easier to say as well - I could never get my tongue around Balearics.
, @lloydroberts good guess, iirc the instruments said 2.6m depth so plenty of room,
